Mrs. Vanessa Downer, Special Education Teacher, started teaching in 2021. She receiver her undergraduate degree in Child Development and Psychology in 1994 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 1999 from East Carolina University. She is currently pursuing a masters in Special Education at George Mason University. In her free time, Mrs. Downer enjoys spending time with her family (and pets), baking and gardening.
