Fangfang Liao

Ms. Liao has taught college English in China for three years before she and her family moved to Japan in 1998. After experiencing different positions mainly as a Chinese, Japanese, and English translator and interpreter in Japan for several years, she and her family moved to the U.S. in 2014. She is excited to join the Providence Family as an ESOL teacher, which is what she has been longing to be. Ms. Liao attended James Madison University with a degree in MAT TESOL and graduated in May 2021. She obtained her B.A. degree in English language and Literature from China and a M.A. degree in International Relations from Japan. In her free time, Ms. Liao loves reading, traveling, hiking, cooking, and arranging flowers. She lives in Oakton with her son who is a senior high student at Oakton High School.
