Daliswa Kumalo
Ms. Didi Kumalo started her teaching career with FCPS in 2020. She has previously taught 4th grade, but made the switch to special education in 2023. She received her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction for Diverse and Exceptional Learners from George Mason University(VA) and her Bachelors of Art in Elementary Education and Special Education from Westminster College(PA). In her free time she enjoys exploring new places, spending time with family and friends as well as her trusty sidekick, Wylie. Wylie is a 4 year old black Labrador Retriever. She has received excellent education and training from Service Dogs of Virginia, a nonprofit organization based in Charlottesville Virginia. She has been partnered as Ms. Kumalo's service dog since December 2022. In her free time she loves to stare intensely at squirrels, belly rubs, taking naps and (most importantly) helping Ms. Kumalo and keeping her safe.
