Ms. Christina Ammirati, Band Director, attended George Mason University and holds a Bachelor of Music in Education and a Master of Music in Flute Performance. She has been teaching elementary band since 2003 and directs the annual Fairfax Area Honor Band. Ms. Ammirati achieved National Board Certification in 2007 becoming the first band director in FCPS to do so. In her free time she loves to practice her flute, cheer on the Capitals and Nationals, lift weights, and attend Broadway musicals and other live shows.
