Mrs. Monica Tatis-Phan is excited to be part of a team where she can help people succeed. Prior to joining FCPS, she worked as a financial advisor, training consultant, and also volunteered with Alexandria County Government – Farmers Market Program. Monica graduated with a Bachelor from University of Miami where she majored in Public Relations and International Studies with a minor in Marketing, and more recently, obtained her Masters in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University. Monica is originally from Colombia but have lived in the US for over thirty years, starting in Miami until 10 years ago when she moved to the Northern Virginia area. She is the mother of three adult sons: Gerardo a law graduated, and the twins: Chad who recent graduated from GMU and Andrew (who is finishing his bachelor also in George Mason. When Monica is not taking care of the family, she is reading or traveling the world and has since visited 34 countries across the world!
