Ms. Karen Russell is excited to be a part of the 6th grade team! She began teaching in 1998 and started teaching 6th grade in 2017. She has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration and a Master's in Elementary Education, both from the University of Phoenix. Karen lives in Fairfax with her two daughters, Carrly and Jilli, cat, two dogs, bearded dragon, turtle, a goldfish, and a toad. She just dropped Jilli off at VCU for her freshmen year. Karen grew up in Fairfax County and attended Parklawn, Holmes, and Jefferson. She loves the Washington Teams, especially the Nationals! When she is not in the classroom she likes to hang out with her family and friends.
