Ms. Karen Russell, 6th grade teacher. Started teaching in Fairfax County in 1998. Karen received her Masters of Elementary Education from University of Phoenix. She has two daughters. Carrly is 24 and Jilli is 20 and at VCU. Karen has 2 dogs, a bearded dragon, a ball python, and a bunch of fish that live in her house as well. She is a fan of the Washington, DC sports teams, loves to go to antique stores and flea markets, and to sit on her back porch, drink coffee, and listen to the roosters crow.
